The Pink Sign Project

The Pink Sign Project is a national awareness initiative focused on the mental health and emotional well-being of emergency responders and roadway workers. It is a program of TIM Heroes, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. The audience is firefighters, EMS, law enforcement, telecommunicators and dispatchers, towing and recovery operators, DOT and highway maintenance crews, safety service patrol, and the agencies that employ them.

The concept: roadway responders already recognize the fluorescent pink diamond incident-management warning sign. This project uses that same familiar shape and color to carry a different warning — that not every warning sign is on the road, and not every emergency has lights and sirens. Same shape. Same purpose, to alert. Different message, to save lives.

Mission: reduce stigma, encourage conversations, and remind responders that asking for help is a sign of strength.

Tagline: Be the Voice. Save a Life.
